OT: PCs and Devils and Kuntry Boys Don't Mix

I need to just dump it off the 5th floor balcony .. but the folks down

stairs got upset last time I did that cause there was glass and plastic

and the like all over the place.

 

I only deleted Temp Files .. then the damn machine said it ain't gonna

work nohow so I reloaded them from the Trash Can.

 

I HATE PC repairmen worser'n I hate undertakers, fashion designers,

lawyers and warm beer .. but I had to call one.

 

Dude come in to install a CD writer and check out the email software.

He couldn't do anything with the email problem but he brought a CD

writer and started to install it. Then he asked for a knife, which

made me remember why I hate them.

 

Asked him why the hell he wanted a knife. He said he had to cut the

plastic case on the PC larger cause the slot wasn't big enough to allow

him to close the case after the CD writer was installed. I told him I

wasn't giving him no damn knife and I was sure there was no PC in the

whole world that required carving on to install hardware .. ;-{

 

Told him to stick the CD writer in the PC or stick it where the sun

didn't shine .. so he decided to do the former and somehow got it into

the case. Turned the damn thing on and it sounded like a food blender.

 

So .. he took it and himself and left. Another dude coming at 1100

tomorrow with a CD writer and a program to reload Netscape. I figger if

I get a CD writer and pull off all my customer files .. MANY they are,

then the machine might work better.

System Resources says 62% free now .. but there is a lotta crap in the

Temp Files .. I just ain't messing with it again cause I don't know why

it caused problems. It locked my danged Sent Files in Communicator when

I emptied the Temp Files.

 

My PC is possessed .. I mean it .. always has been.
