Guest guest
I was just curious, I know there were oils I avoided using while pregnant, but are there oils I should avoid while breastfeeding? I want to get back into my candle making (and use the lovely oils from Chris), but don't want to expose myself & the little guy to stuff I shouldn't. TIA Michele

Not that I can think of .... although you may want to avoid certain herbs .. like Sage, cause it can dry up your milk supply .. also don't use any toiletry products on or near your breasts, especially your nipple area (like soap, lotions, perfume, even hydrosols ....) It is best for a newborn to get to know mommy's natural personal smell and not wear any deodorants or perfumes (even natural perfumes) .. as they get a bit older you can begin to reintroduce scents to your body and even leave the wee one with a little swatch of your " signature scent " when you begin to have any separation times, like they begin to go to a sitter or daycare, etc .... > I want to get back > into my candle making (and use the lovely oils from Chris), but don't want > to expose myself & the little guy to stuff I shouldn't.
