Hi y'all,

 

I'm glad Chuck decided to join us. He'll be an asset fer'shur and I'm

confident he'll find this the most comfortable list around - lots of

good folks on it. I'll let the cat outa the bag by telling y'all that

Chuck has done some purty interesting work using Vitex agnus castus ..

;-)

 

Also wanna thank y'all for all the nice comments reference me .. they

are appreciated .. and I do blush sometimes .. :-)

 

Breakfast went fine this morning cept'in thar warn't no kuntry ham. ;-{

Had 12 business owners or managers - like Boeing, Dillingham, General

Electric, Texas Aerospace Industries, Bell Helicopter and the like ..

and me. They're talking millions of bucks while I'm thinking millions

of Turkish Lira (exchange rate is a million plus to the dollar) so I

sorta sat there and grinned .. ;-p

 

Ambassador Pierson had just returned from escorting Prime Minister

Ecevit to see President Bush ... and he briefed us on what went down ...

then he started talking about the newest gadgets he's fixed up on his

Harley .. yep .. our ambassador loves to ride his Harley ..

 

The American Ambassador in Turkey has picked up admin oversight of the

operations of civilian companies in Afghanistan .. in case any of y'all

wanna bid a project or just do something different for a while, there

are MANY business opportunities and lots of jobs there now .. ;-9 One

of the US companies is going full steam building schools and hospitals.

So much for them who claim we're not taking care of the Afghanis.

 

Met a feller who had worked for me as a young lieutenant back in 84 -

now retired and working with a US company. Aside from that, nothing

much went down. The Ambassador is a Suth'ran gennelman .. which caused

me have an idea to tell him that if'n I had his horsepower I'd have the

boys in D.C. send me the makin's fer grits and red eye gravy afore I

held another breakfast .. but I changed my mind at the last minute ..

;-p
