Guest guest
I followed AT links to this site and was ... ummm .... compelled to share what I've seen there so far. http://www.forces-of-nature.net/default.htm First, I read the links for " Our Story " - how inspiring. Then I read " Menopause-ease " & " PMS Finesse " - (Could Kurt Schnaubelt know what they've done with p. 207 of Medical Aromatherapy) At " Herpes No More " - we learn that H-Balm can permanently eliminate herpes outbreaks! The whole business just looks like FDA chow. I don't know if this is a snow job or just a flake;-P I hope I'm not being unfair - anybody want to go see? Guest guest
Hello Gail, I read a bit of this, how do you link them with Young Living? I am in search of a teacher and I found one that was about an hour away, so I am trying to contact her for more info. My area seems to be swarming with YL reps and one is holding a class at the local hospital, the ad in the newpaper gives this woman a glowing resume' as only one of 300 people personally taught by the prestigious Gary Young. So I am trying to weed out anyone who may be connected with this organization, mainly due to the fact that , based on my knowledge of them, not alot, but in a search for info on oils about 2 years ago became a non stop solicitation from YL, their is a holistic healing center 15 mins from me and they contact me via e- mail alot, one inquiry got me a website, a bill for $30 a month - so that alone scared me away, anyone willing to set up a website for me to sell products I know nothing about- well- that and I am not interested in others blends, my main goal is to learn all I can about EO's so that I can confidently make my own. So my search got me to the NAHA website and the teacher I am looking into, I do not want to put up the $300+( this would be costs for only 101)before I know what I am getting into, and since my area is a hot spot for YL I want to make sure - so would anyone who is associated with YL be recommened by NAHA to teach a certified course? I have taken a course and if I were dishonest I could say I am a certified aromatherapist, I even have a certificate, however I knew most of the material already from reading and working on my own, it is a nice and knowledable teacher but in my opinion she has really should not give out such certificates. Also can someone please clarify these titles : RMT, CHT, KMT, MT, H.At. Thank-you and sorry for rambling emryldgea , Indyrice@a... wrote: > I followed AT links to this site and was ... ummm .... compelled to share > what I've seen there so far. > > http://www.forces-of-nature.net/default.htm > I hope I'm not being unfair - anybody want to go see? > > Gail
Guest guest
> Also can someone please clarify these titles : > RMT, CHT, KMT, MT, H.At. > RMT- registered massage therapist- not too many of them because the AMTA does not give out this title anymore... CHT-certified hypnotherapist- umm- you decide... KMT-Kkkkk???? MT- massage therapist-no certificate? H.At- Holistic Aromatherapist- one of NAHAs titles- and actually- you dont have to graduate from a NAHA approved training, as it seems on their site- you can do Kurts course or have been working with the oils(IE massage therapist)for 5 years or something...check with them directly. When looking for a Massage therapist- make sure they have AT LEAST 500 hours of training- a way of knowing this is true is membership with the AMTA or NCBTMB- but that is not necessary- just ask about their schooling- Michelle

I didn't mean to link this site to Young Living so much as to compare it to a budding - Young Living sort of company. Not a MLM Co. but... The person offering the oils cites exotic travel & research experiences to explain her special knowledge of these " God " given - " all natural " " miraculous " elixirs of life, she makes claims that seem ...well... illegal and incorrect. I think she could try to sell her stuff without those shenanigans. Gail
