Guest guest
Have you tried Bach flower essences? I am just starting to experiment with them on my dog, who is a bit high strung (thought the light of my life!) and has created a lick granuloma on his leg that is yucky! I am starting him on vervain for worry, but there are remedies recommended for both your dogs, one for courage and the other for the aggressor. Of course, I can't remember what they are offhand, but if you are interested, let me know and I'll look them up! Guest guest
Hi again, Yes, but not the Bach itself brand. I use FES (Flower Essence Society's), so when you'd speak of say.....Rescue Remedy, I'd say Five Flower Formula. The rest of the 38 original Bach essences are the same names. I've been using them for years, and absolutely love them (for emotional issues); though for anyone that's never taken them before, I always start them on the Five Flower, for two weeks and get a full case history (ok, the dog's an exception, but I've had good luck with the Rescue/Five Flower in pets as well). Once the body is used to the essence, I then review the case history, noting what or if anything's changed and proceed from there.. in choosing the appopriate essence<s>. Another good idea, one FES recommends, course, you do send them in " if you want " , but keep a notebook with all your case history's in them. Makes it easier if you need to treat the same pet/person again. If you don't, it's still a great source for review for yourself, - I have them going back a few years ago and still re-look them up.
