Rosa musceta

Does anyone know where I could purchase rosa musceta, evening primrose and

borage? Found a recipe for some face oil that I would like to try. It also

calls for wheatgerm. Not sure on this one. Anyone have any suggestions as to

the use of wheatgerm?

TIA

Blessings and love,

Effie

Camden Grey has evening primrise and borage in small and bulk

quantity. Rosa musceta...could it be rosa mosqueta? Rosa Mosqueta

is rose hip. Maybe it's calling for wheatgerm oil?

All of these oils are very rich and nourishing. A bit too rich to

use along in my humble opinion. I would dilute it with kukui nut,

apricot kernal or jojoba oil and moist the face with hydrosol first.

One little note, the first three oils go rancid quickly.

I use wheat germ a lot in my cooking:) I bet it would make a nice face

cream.

I have made lotions and creams using all sorts of cooking ingredients.

Things like corn flour and ground rice. I have also used things like

powdered almonds and walnuts. They have always turned out wonderful.

Barley makes the greatest foot scrub I am convinced:)

The wheat germ would be very moisturizing I would imagine, and help add

some elastin back to the skin. Something all of our faces could use. It

may also be used as part of the emulsification equation. Definitely

worth trying.
