I was under the immpression that Lavender was OK to use neat, I have

put abit on my temples for headaches also, I have pretty sensative

skin- just a dab, I wouldn't use it in large amounts.

Have to remember that everyone is different and reacts differently to

things. My friend can't be around lavender at all. It makes her heart race

and she becomes agitated. Weird huh. Has the opposite effect on her since

it is said to help relax.

In general it is, however sensitivity is a different thing. It's like an

allergy. Your body can decide it's had enough and cant' take it anymore.

You can have the toughest skin but still develope a sensitivity.

Sensitive skin and sensitivity to an oil are two different things.

Hi Margaret,

 

Depends.. was it Lavender (stocheas) variety? That one's not a calmative - it's

the opposite.......could that have been it? :)
