Guest guest
Hmmmm..very interesting subject. One I honestly havent thought too deep about...but should. I know many infused oils can reach just below the surface, and some very deep as in infused oils to help cysts in the breast, so EO's could probably do the same. Maybe some EOs shouldnt be used on children and the elderly since they go internally? And I recently read cats shouldnt have eos applied to them since their liver cant handle it....this is interesting since it is just an external application, I agree. I do know this. My dh loves eucalyptus baths to open his sinuses. One night he put too much in the bathtub. He takes very hot baths. As soon as he got into the bath the skin on his back turned very cold, almost like ice, and he hopped out and drained the water. It didnt burn the skin, irritate the skin, or so forth, but was cold underneath the skin and on the skin itself. ( Dont worry - he's fine ) So obviously it goes into the skin..... Wondering about other thoughts....great conversation starter Erin
