the principles of differentiation of pattern types according to

Chinese medicine.

 

Numerous case examples with before and after slides will also be

presented and will act as the basis of detailed discussion on the

specifics of treatment with clear and practical instructions on

adapting effective formulae to the vagaries of clinical reality.

The course is spread out over four weekends (all but the last are

Module One (25-27 February 2005)

Day one: Introduction to Dermatology; Psoriasis I

Day two: Psoriasis II, III

Day three: Acne; Perioral Dermatitis

 

Module Two (22-24 April 2005)

Day one: Revision & test on previous module's material; Seborrhoeic

Dermatitis; Stasis Eczema

Day two: Nummular eczema, Pompholyx Eczema

Day three: Lichen simplex; Rosacea

Module Three (24-26 June 2005) Day one: Revision & test on previous

module's material; Atopic Eczema I, II

Day two: Atopic Eczema III; Fungal & Yeast infection

Day three: Vitiligo; Urticaria (acute & chronic)

 

Module Four (10-11 September 2005)

Day one: Herpes simplex; Herpes zoster; Impetigo

Day two: Final Examination
