Guest guest
Hi Jason, > I treat tons of allergic rhinitis and have good results with herbs > and acu. Jason Jason, could you summarise the syndromes that you diagnose in allergic rhinitis cases, and your choice of points & herbs/formulas for each syndrome? I have used simple acupuncture, with very good results, to treat sinusitis cases, acute and chronic. It was Cookbook-type AP, without an attempt to diagnose specific syndromes. I used a few points at each session, chosen mainly from Yintang, Taiyang, LI04, LI11, LI20, LV03, GB14, GB20, ST36. Jason Jason, could you summarise the syndromes that you diagnose in allergic rhinitis cases, and your choice of points & herbs/formulas for each syndrome? [Jason] My approach for herbs is quite involved based on some translated Chinese information and then on the individual, but a basic outline can be found in Clavey's Internal medicine book, where he differentiates various acute patterns and underlying root patterns. For acupuncture I do the basic stuff. -
