Guest guest
Hola Simon, I use Ch'i Kung both as an adjunct to my needling (that is i insert the needles and apply Ch'i to them) and as a stand alone technique. I also use Ch'i Kung to confirm my pulse and tongue diagnosis. Does anyone here have any experience with practitioners of Qigong healing in ? there is a book called " mastering miracles " about a guy who lives somewhere in the US, diagnoses just by looking at people and can " see " blockages in meridians.... Now I accept that qi can be transferred through the hands and find it quite likely that it can be transferred without touch as well but are there practitioners out there for whom it is more effective to use Qigong than it is to use herbs, acupuncture, or physical manipulation? Simon Thakur - Hi Simon, IMO The path of becoming a good acupuncturist is about self transformation and Healing, Learning to use Qi energy is an indispensable tool for self healing and in the treatment room. for myself I can see into the organs and meridians to aid me in my diagnosis, I don't fully trust my awakening sight but I am increasingly learning to. I also use qi energy to help me diagnose the level of energy within a meridian and I use qi energy to help me asses which acupuncture point I will use in a treatment. This last one is especially usefull in gauging the state of the points along the REn and Du chanels wether they need treating and wether it should be tonified or sedated. Occasionally I will also work with chrakas energetically or cleanse /flood an organ with Qi . frankily I don't know how I could treat people without using Qi to aid me in diagnosing and treating. I still prefer to place needles in people though as it is less taxing / more economical on my Energy system. salvador
