How is it that a lab rat " made " to have colon cancer in any way similar to the actual cancers that people acquire? No wonder we're losing the " war " . Guest guest
Bang on! In cases of prostate cancer which I have studied, experimental animals have to be given doses of androgen that are x10 the animals' normal level before disease progression is noted. Moreover that is after the animal has been injected with an active form of the cancer. Animals studies are just bonkers. They lead backwards not forwards in terms of knowledge, and they cause untold misery to creatures that have a right to life.
