Tying up / azoturia in Horses

Hi All,

 

What are your approaches to treating tying up / azoturia in horses

with TCM, Western or Ayurvedic formulas?

 

In your experience, can you rely on herbs as the SOLE treatment

in this condition, or must you add other supplements, like Se, Vit

E, other antioxidants and/or acupuncture and/or spinal

manipulation?

 

I found acupuncture very good, especially when combined with

Ayurvedic LIV52 herbal formula (also on WWW as LIV 52, LIV-52

or LIV.52) in some cases.
