Tar - like menstrual blood with pain

Hi all ... female about 30, some yin-def, spleen not

controlling blood, history of irregular menses with

medium sized dark-red clots, no abnormalities located

via ultrasound or blood tests. This past weekend had

experienced a stabbing-hot-poker pain at about cv 2

which was recurrent for a few hours. The question I

had was with regards to the tar-like blood. Anyone?
