Brian,

I think I've seen a Wu Shen Tao school in Takoma Park. I'll call them and

see if it's the same one you know about. We're looking for somebody to come

teach at Joe's Movement Emporium in Mt. Rainier, which is not too far from

there.

Thanks for the ideas.

Hey, Chris! Dede here!

I did/took Tai Chi when I lived in Austin. Once I moved I got overly

busy and didn't keep it up. You're right, it does do wonderful

things! It's harder than it looks, but certainly slows you down!

Thanks for bringing it up ... that might be The thing to do with this

blood pressure thing I've got coming up!!

Another reason for me to move to Austin, Tai Chi, which would benefit me

personally, and to stare at those damned Zum bar tops.....I'm easily

entertained.

Read the article at

http://www.selfgrowth.com/articles/Are_You_Really_practicing_Tai_Chi_And_Is_It_E\

ffective_For_Stress.html

and then decide if you are practicing Tai Chi or a modernized, version

requiring little study and designed to attract people.

Very few people ever learn any classicla martial art which includes

health, treatment of injuries , etc.
