Guest guest
Hello All: It seems that there is a tension in this group between those who see it as being exclusively limited to the discussion of narrowly defined " Traditional " , i.e. the medicine that is practiced in and promoted by the universities of mainland China, and those who wish to discuss Asian medicine in its larger scope. I have created a new group, Asian Medicine, and if folks are interested we can make it active. I personally enjoy more academic discussions of TCM, but sometimes I have clinical experiences that are not within that orthodoxy, and would like a place to include them. Of course, that would depend on the moderator and the feeling of this group: is there space on this TCM forum for, say, Vietnamese acupuncture practices, or Kampo medicine? Neither are, strictly, TCM. Same with meridian-style acupuncture. So, what do people think? Here is the website for the new group and the subscribing address: Web page: http://health.asian_medicine/ Subscribe address: asian_medicine- Gratitude to all the good minds out there in CM land. -Ben Benjamin Hawes, MAOM, Lic.
