Guest guest
<< Yikes! The gospel of Ken Wilbur according to his disciple Lonny Jarrett. Check: http://www.enlightenment.com/shop/wilber.cfm which describes Ken Wilbur as the most widely published philosopher. It's interesting stuff in some regards, but it would not quite survive a philosophy colloquium at any university that I know of. Hugs, Emmanuel >> Lon: Boy is this passive aggressive or not? Hugs? So Emmanuel, what specifically do you agree with and disagree with regarding Wilber's view? For the record, I'm not a disciple of Ken Wilber, I'm a disciple of Andrew Cohen's. And, you use the word " disciple " rather disparagingly and I wonder why? Lastly, I'd hardly think that the test of the validity of any specific philosophic viewpoint would be passing the " muster " of a universitie's " philosophy colloquium. " Not any more then the validity of Gallileo's theories were tested by passing the muster of the Roman Catholic church. I admire WIlber's work and have for 20 years. His theories help explain to me and contextualize my own direct experience. Did you have something to say on these matters or are you just satisfied to make superficial quips?
