Migraines

Scientists in Germany have discovered that the vitamin riboflavin

can halve the number of migraine attacks and reduce the amount of

medication needed to ease the pain from migraines. Most of us get

what we need in terms of the vitamin from foods such as eggs, milks

and breakfast cereals but as our bodies cannot store it we need to

eat it every day. The researchers found no ill-effects of the

vitamin being used in migraine treatment.

How soy milk stops bones crumbling

A two-year study in Denmark has found that drinking two glasses of

soy milk a day could protect post-menopausal women suffering from

osteoporosis from developing lumbar spine bone loss. The researchers

say that many women have been looking for alternative treatments

following adverse press coverage of HRT.

Is the soy milk fermented? If not, then the soy

contains a lot of phytic acid, which acts as a

chelator to draw minerals and vitamins OUT of the

body. It's bad stuff. Soy is a ploy.......
