Guest guest
I look at the concept of a " Healing Crisis " from a couple views. The physical view stems from the idea that when a person is becoming imbalanced or has symptoms, the Krebs cycle is compromised and the ability of the affected cells to remove metabolic waste diminishes. In addition, the ability of the body to remove environmental toxins diminishes also. As a result, cells become ladened with toxins. When an effective treatment is given, the cells are able to move out toxins. If they release the toxins faster than the rest of the elimination systems can deal with, the blood and lymph become toxic and the " Healing Crisis " is felt. An emotional view is that some people will suppress emotions which tends to stagnate biochemistry and Chi. As that person " transmutes " or releases those suppressed emotions, they may be experienced again as they are released and this may be considered a " Healing Crisis " . I have witnessed many patients weeping on the table during treatment. It is my belief that as the Chi held by an emotional pattern is released, so are some of the emotions that have bound the Chi that is now moving. Just a few thoughts, Chris
