The picture is very much seered into my consciousness. But if that's not enough.. I took the time to visit the Daily Camera site.. unfortunately unlike some bigger papers like the New York Times, their online archives only seem to go back about a year. It occured either in '95 or '97.. If the story interests you, it should not be that hard to uncover that front page picture.. I'll keep my eyes open. And.. I don't think it happened quite like you have outlined... he didn't just walk right on up and rub his head.. they were conversing and when posing for the picture for the newspaper (as I've heard it told), my friend spontaneously rubbed his head.
