Hi Holger,

 

If you're worried about the acupuncture points in the ear, just tell

the " piercer " where you want it done, and place it between actual

points. The points on the lobe aren't that close together. I got mine

pierced when I was 16 (just one hole per ear, a long time ago!), and

haven't had problems. The only problems I've seen for people are if

they develop allergies and start reacting to the metal. I'd be glad

she doesn't want other things pierced!

Hi

 

I think the practitioner's intention when doing anything has alot to do with

the outcome of a therapy. This could explain why " nothing " happens to

people who do pierce their ears and don't know about the pressure points

that they might hit (or not), and the side effects they might trigger (or

not).
