Does anybody have any experience treating hypertension with Rauwolfia

Serpentina? I'm having excellent results for about 2 years now using doses of

about

..05-.125mg daily. I've not seen any concerning side effects. Yet reserpine in

larger doses when treating schizophrenia (in the old days), 10-20mg/day, can

have negative side effects. I've researched this a bit and am just wondering

about any experiences here. Warm regards, Lon

Lon -

Is this a Chinese Herb? I don't recognize the name. How did you come

upon it, and who do you purchase it from?

Thanks,

Rauwolfia is an Ayurvedic herb also used in Tibetan medicine. It does

appear in the Zhong yi da ci dian/Great Dictionary of Chinese

Medicinals, as luo1 fu1 mu4, entry #4117. It is considered to be

acrid, bitter, cold, and slightly toxic,
