Guest guest
Hi Susie, I was wondering if you could give me info on the post graduate course you took. I totally agree with you about being able to use both Five Element and TCM theory and am really trying my best to do so after swinging back and forth as you expressed having done as well. Thanks Tami PS I apologize for offending anyone for perhaps inferring that Worsley acupuncture is the " classical " form of acupuncture. I've been trying my best to gain clarity and completely admit my ignorance on the subject. I was using the terminology that I have previously heard to describe the spiritual aspects of Oriental medicine that seem to have been lost in TCM. Guest guest
Hi Tami The course I took was a 2 year postgraduate course in TCM integration i.e. integrating TCM with 5 Element. The course was run by John and Angela Hicks at the College of Integrated Medicine, Reading, UK. John and Angela are marvellous teachers, I thoroughly enjoyed every single day with them. In contrast to the teachers I had at Leamington, John and Angela are humble, inspiring, happy to answer questions, if they can't answer your question, they aren't afraid to say so. Unfortunately your web address suggests you are probably a long way from Reading! Guest guest
Message: 21 8 Jul 104 22:00:21 +0000 Hi Stephen Yes I know John was the Dean at Leamington, they both taught there when JR Worsley was active with the college. I can't speak for John and Angie, but one has to ask why they left and started their own college. Having attended both colleges I feel it is obvious that John and Angie learned a lot on how not to teach things from the Leamington approach. John and Angie always speak of JR Worsley with great respect and value what they learned from him. I would also want to point out that there are some good teachers at Leamington.
