Hi all,

Taken from: http://bmj.bmjjournals.com/uknews/news20040706.shtml#3

(i'm quite impressed that the BMJ, one of the UK's most well known

medical journals is pumping this info out).

Tree bark pill beats DVT

Zinopin R, a new drug which went on sale over the counter in

chemists' shops last week can be used by long-haul air and car

travellers to combat the threat of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). It

has similar blood-thinning effects to aspirin but does not have the

potential side-effects of stomach upset or internal bleeding.

ZinopinR is made up of two natural food supplements which help boost

circulation. Frequent fliers can take it as often as they require

because there are no harmful side-effects.

Does anyone know what tree bark they are referring to?

Green tea improves chance of beating ovarian cancer

A study at Curtin University in Perth, Australia, found that

drinking green tea cancer increase the survival rates of women with

ovarian cancer. The study found that almost 80 per cent of tea

drinkers survived compared to 48 per cent of non tea-drinkers. It

also found that the more tea the woman drank the greater the degree

of protection offered. Green tea is though to stimulate the immune

system.
