Guest guest
Hi everyone, My qigong teacher suggested that we try out a " qi fast " where we primarily eat " qi " (as I described in an earier message) while supplementing with vegetables, fruits, and some meat as we feel like it. The qigong we practice consists of " whole body natural (Buddhist) and reverse (Daoist) breathing. The results after three weeks are interesting: Overall, we (my wife and I) are eating two light meals a day vs. three regular meals that we use to eat. These are some results so far. How meaningful they are remains to be seen. Weight: dropped 18 pounds Blood pressure: dropped from an average of about 120/80 to 105/68 pulse: dropped from an average of about 72 to about 58 My wife has also had some very good results, losing about 15 pounds so far. It is very interesting and in some ways very surprising results. I guess it shows that eating qi, vegetables, and fruit is somewhat healthier than eating hamburgers. :-) Regards, Rich
Guest guest
Hi Rich! In my experience, anyone who loses more than 1 lb per week will experience what might be called a " relapse " , gaining all the weight back plus some. I hope your " eating qi " makes this not happen.
