Guest guest
I would like to offer you a simple and less fear loaded solution to you problem! Use REN mai and DU mai 8 extraordinary vessel points ( Lu7 kid6)(si3 bl62) opening point on the right for women coupled point on the left, opposite for men)this will help balance the deeper imbalance caused and restore the leaking Qi? this is why I often advise patient with belly button jewelry to remove them if they have lack of energy/tiredness since the rings etc is causing a qi leakage from the ren channel, Simple logic see! Giovanni Maciocia uses Extra meridian points quite often as stated in many of his books. Acupuncture works much better if the practioner if confident and can believe in themself if we allow fear to overtake us then we become lost!!! a healer may not beable to treat themselves but what if your on your own away from help do you just die I think not! you act approriatly Love light and Magic Chris
Guest guest
Hi Chris, I'm feel a bit self-conscious about how much room I'm taking on the board in the past 24 hours....I sure do appreciate all this help. I think your idea is a good one--I remember reading about this treatment in a Macciocia book. I also am a big fan of extraordinary vessels. You know what is amazing to me? I have been able to successfully help by far the majority of patients that I've seen....and yet this thread has shown me just how much there is for me to learn (which I already knew, but this has really emphasized it). Once again, I am absolutely astounded by TCM. I did a treatment tonight combining many of the ideas that people have talked about here, and I already feel better. I feel sorry for all the people out there who are not benefiting from this wonderful, amazing, fascinating medicine. Now that I think about it, I have not yet really focused on treating this problem consistently with acupuncture, partly because I've lacked the discipline to treat myself consistently, and partly because I focused on herbs because this was an organ level problem so I thought herbs would be better. I am now convinced that acupuncture is a much better way to go. I feel so priviledged to be practising this beautiful art form. No one reads more into a situation than a sick healer. And, at some stage too many ideas lead to a TCM Valhalla. There is something impersonal in offering advice by proxy, one wonders if people feel genuinely, or are just sounding off about how much they know, gee, they don't have a messed up Ren 4. Take care of the Ren 4 then. It;s the only one you have. Dr. Holmes Keikobad MB BS DPH Ret. DIP AC NCCAOM LIC AC CO & AZ www.acu-free.com - 15 CEUS by video. NCCAOM reviewed. Guest guest
A better choise? I bet her choise to sleep with Renne Four stabbing her in the stomach was a mistake What I wonder is how is this possible? To sleep while being stabbed in the stomach? Guest guest
Hi Holmes, I have no doubt those are very interesting and poignant words...or perhaps humorous....but since I don't know who Renne Foure is I can't appreciate them. I did a search on the name and all that came up was French. But I like your sentiment, " Take care of your Ren 4, its the only Ren 4 you have " . That's one of the things that horrified me about this whole situation. Of all the points I could have traumatized, Ren 4 would have been on my list of top 5 worst choices for sure. The worst part of it is that I cannot use that splendid point on myself anymore, and it used to be one of my favorites. Maybe if I am kind to it overtime it will come back to me.....sniff, sniff.... Guest guest
Yes, now that is the question, isn't it? Here I am, an insomniac....I wear earplugs everynight because the slightest noise is prone to waking me.....and yet I slept a full 8 hours utterly undisturbed by a needle grinding into my stomach, because that's just how well that point worked to put me to sleep. Now if that isn't a testament to the power of acupuncture I don't know what is... Guest guest
Hi Laura! Several days ago I asked you how long ago this happened. Either you missed the question or I missed the answer. Guest guest
Hi Pete, I am almost embarrassed to say....it happened 2 years ago. It has seemed like it was resolving off and on throughout those two years though, but then it would come back. I am feeling really hopeful about utilizing some of the ideas that I've been given here. I did a treatment last night and it really helped. I wish that I had resolved to use acupuncture instead of herbs to treat this long ago. There have been problems that I have found herbs to be wonderfully useful for, both in myself and in patients, but time and time again I find that acupuncture is often preferable over herbs. I think this is one of those times. I will definitely post about my results when the time comes. I have felt so grateful and fortunate to be given so much help here. My future patients will benefit... Laura Chinese Medicine , Pete Theisen <petet@a...> wrote: > Hi Laura! > > Several days ago I asked you how long ago this happened. Guest guest
Not having followed all the details on this one, has anyone asked how it's possible from Ren-4, text-book location, to thread to the stomach organ? (or was it meant just to the St channel?)
Guest guest
I believe she meant the colloquial " stomach " she slept on, supine. Dr. Holmes Keikobad MB BS DPH Ret. Guest guest
Hi Chris! " Stomach " in this colloquial context is the whole front of the body. Like " I was lying on my stomach " .
