Guest guest
Hi , a few weeks back I had a new patient, She had very few symptoms to speak of as most of he disturbances were still at the emotional / mental level My diagnosis was disturbance in the GB and P I sedate the GB and Ton. the P. That night she was in hospital under observation as she cold bloodly told her mother that unless she got her own way she would commit suicide when no one was looking. I saw her again 4 days later, as we talked she confirmed how well she'd felt after the tx and had nothing but praise for me as she had been to many healers in the past and I was the only one to have impressed her and to effect a change in her. I also noted that she'd had a burst blood vessel the night after TX in the right eye. I KNEW I had made a mistake and had been TOO COCKY in my initial diagnosis. I made myself slow down, retested and reconfirmed all my findings. I HAD BEEN WRONG and rectified my mistake. I Ton the GB and Sed. the P. happy faces all around. Everything that I know is the result of the mistakes and the observations that I make. I have done my best to enlighten some of you. But as the saying goes it is hard to pour any more liquid into a cup that is already full. I have been defending my corner for quite a while now , it take energy which with hindsightI would rather put into more productive projects like the students who have committed themselves to learning from my experiences and writting a book. So.. I will bow out gracefully, I have been on stage much longer than my personality feels comfortable with. Any of you who are ready to learn something real you'll have to find me . P.S. I have learnt a lot from been a member. Thank You all bye for now salvador
Guest guest
Hi Salvador, Oh my Gosh, I have to think that my recent posts have played a part in your decision, and I feel bad. I have only recently become a member and I probably shouldn't have been so opinionated with people I haven't become more fully acquainted with. I only did so because I am passionate about TCM and love to analyze it from every angle. One thing that I completely agree with you on is that the wrong treatment with acupuncture can make people worse. I also have learned this from paying close attention to when I have made mistakes. I try not to deny that it was my treatment that made someone worse...I try to examine it and learn from it, and not make the same mistake on another patient. I haven't been on here long enough to know much about you or anyone else, but I do have a feeling about you that I will be bold enough to share. It seems like you genuinely have something special to share. But the tone of your posts often sounds a bit arrogant, which might put people off. Its one thing to say that you have some knowledge that you would like to share that seems to work, but its another to say that everyone's elses knowledge is useless. I asked where you were from because I had the sense that perhaps English was not your primary language and that maybe the tone of your posts was related to a language barrier. So there I go again, being perhaps too honest. That's my general way of doing things though, and that's what works for me. I hope I haven't played a part in your decision, and that you will reconsider.
