Hi Deirdre,

Wonderful to hear that they seem to work well together. I am really

drawn to homeopathy. I don't know what eltroxin is, but I did start

taking Armour thyroid. I first tried a few other remedies which

seemed to make me worse in one way or another and my homeopaths

weren't able to explain what was going on and what the plan was, so I

gave up and tried Armour. Well, the Armour was a mixed bag---I found

it easier to go to sleep, which was nice (insomnia has been a

complaint for years), and I felt less anxious but I was very cold and

very tired and bloated. And then after awhile I became HYPERthyroid,

stangely enough. Even on the lowest dose I seemed to be

hyperthyroid. So I gave up on that. Now I don't know what's going

on with me. I started out with Phosphorous, which is what made me

get so cold (I also got really, really bad insomnia, by the way). A

few years ago I had been given Ferrum Metallicum 30 c for one month,

and it really helped me sleep well but gave me heat---my face flushed

all the time---which is an ongoing annoyance in my life, but the

Ferrum Metallicum made it worse. But I liked sleeping better, and I

felt warmer. So I've wondered if I should try that remedy again.

Are there certain remedies that you would most commonly use in a

situation like this? Sorry for all the details, if this was more

than you wanted to take on I understand. Just thought I'd give it a

shot!

Hi Laura

It is important for you to go to a homoeoapath for a one to one consult. It

is not possible to prescribe a remedy to someone with organ pathology

without taking the persons case.

My advice to you is to find another homoeopath.

Good Luck

Best wishes

Deirdre
