The operators took it really easy and everything went smoothly. 3 hours operation and now he has a 10mm rod in his upper left straight(!) femur marrow channel. He woke up after one and a half hours postoperative sleep and softly sang the tunes by James Brown: " I feel good.. dad'n.dao..dad'n da.. " He also said it was wonderful to wake up this way. He slept another 30 minutes and then sat up and said after a few minutes he was hungry. He slept really relaxed without any medication except the local anestesia in his femur all night no nausea no vomiting...
