From the classic prescription An Shen Bu Xin Wan, it is said to contain: Dan Shen Shi Chang Pu Wu Wei Zi Han Lian Cao Nu Zhen Zi He shou Wu Suan Zao Ren However, the modern formula contains: Dan Shen Shi Chang Pu Wu Wei Zi An Shen Gao. ...which leads me to believe that An Shen Gao is made up of the last four ingredients: Han Lian Cao, Nu Zhen Zi, He Shou Wu and Suan Zao Ren.
