Synephrine at 0.22% = 2200mg/kg = 2.2mg/g in peel powder.

If 60mg synephrine/d is OK, does this mean that the dose of

Chenpi (or Zhike) can be up to 60/2.2 = 27.3g peel powder/day?

Hi, Phil: yes, your calculation is quite right. It is difficoult prescribe

over 9 grams per day (dried Chen Pi for decoction) in a patient of about 60

kg (as weight= 132 pound), but someone in Italy gave, as a dieting drug,

much more, to tonify San Jiao/TE and Sp/St solving Tan/dampness; of course

this is only dangerous or stupid.

When you write " powder " , you are thinking at dried peel, then pulverizated,

isn't it?

Thank you, Gabriele
