Guest guest
Hi all, I've acquired the acupoints used for weight lost from a specialist at the hospital. Here they are in the order that they should be punctured. 1. Zhongwan (Ren 12) 2. Xiawan (Ren 10) 3. Qihai (Ren 6) 4. Guanyuan (Ren 4) 5. Daheng (SP 15) 6. Huaroumen (ST 24) 7. Wailing (ST 26) The same points are used for all types of patients. Needles are retained for roughly 25 mins without manipulation. Guest guest
Thank you for the weight loss points. Could you expand a little further regarding the size of the needles such as length and gauge as well as the needling technique as far as depth of sensertion, angle of insertion and whether to obtain deqi or not. I have seen a few techniques for weight loss in school and the insertion of points are more oblique than perpendicular. Thanks...Brian <attiliodalberto wrote: Hi all, I've acquired the acupoints used for weight lost from a specialist at the hospital. Here they are in the order that they should be punctured. 1. Guest guest
Hi Brian, Yes, sorry. All the needles are reusable, 0.35x50mm. Needles are inserted perpendicular, de Qi is obtained and the needles are left perpendicular for roughly 25 mins. The needles are inserted roughly 1 to 1.5 cun. The needles are not oblique for weight lost patients. Kind regards Attilio Chinese Traditional Medicine Brian Hardy [mischievous00] 20 April 2004 20:14 Chinese Medicine Re: Notes from Zhong Ri hospital, AP, part 2, weight lost Thank you for the weight loss points.
