Guest guest
Thorough but complicated. (Are there teeth marks in tongue body?) Root and branch. First things first sometimes. Main complaint. Use a 2 oscillator electric point stimulator unit bilaterally, switching between 2hz and 32hz, at points St36 and Spl6, with needles also placed in (for example)'knee eyes', Liv8, K10, and pair of needle at GB21 to balance tx between upper and lower and clear old ghosts. Bring stim unit intensity up slowly to where pt. can just feel it, leave 10 min, then increase intensity a little for another 10 min. Upper/lower balancing points could be Lu, SJ, LI etc. The new weight gain is hard on an old person's old knees, so introduce the tea Er Chen Wan, with added Yi Yi Ren for 2 weeks to drain damp and with point combo, may reinvigorate metabolism. Then revealuate to include gentle Kid essence building, bld moving/stasis removing substances. The trouble in the past can often be worked thru w your gentle understanding, and non-judgemental conversation. Just a thought. peace Pete Theisen <petet wrote: Hi Everybody! Guest guest
Pete, Some other helpful information might be what her mental state has been over the years. I saw the anxiety, but how far has the childhood trauma taken her? Is she suicidal, bipolar, have mental blackouts of blocks of time? Dislike certain periods of the day? I usually think of an aggresive energy treatment or possession treatment in a situation like this. There are also support groups out there for people who survive religious rituals as a child. I have a friend with a similar childhood (except worse). He has a lot of cold damp signs, but also gets fire which over time I realized was maybe even more significant than the cold. I mention this because it was a while before I realized how significant that component was because it seemed disguised by all the cold symptoms. Your patient looks like she probably has some kd yin xu, but the childhood trauma could lead to xue xu also and with the phlegm might be aggravating the heat. Does she tend to anger easily? Depressed at all? oh well, I guess I created more questions than answers. Hope this helps. --brian
