Is any one in the dept. able to tell you the ingredients of what they are

prescribing?

my guess is that qiang and du refer to qiang huo and du huo. my guess is also

that

there is nothing remarkable or peculiar about this formula if it is so commonly

prescribed. Can't wait to see the ingredients.

Unfortunately I have now left this dept. Was looking over my notes

and wanted to look up its composition but could not find it. The

translation I believe is 'Tonify the Kidney and Strengthen the Du

Mai' and probably does include Du Huo. Thanks anyway.

Angelo.

Google has no hits for " Bu Shen Qiang Du " , or " BuShen QiangDu " , or " Bu-

Shen-Qiang-Du " . It must be a one-off formula by a doctor or hospital for local

use.

Phil,

Very clear info on rather short list of formulas. Nice and concise for patient

or student referral. Thank you.
