Guest guest
I was wondering, what one would take for thinning hair, and going grey at an early age.It seems to be hereditary in my family, however,I have noticed that since using some herbs, and taking supplements, like B-complex,and EFAS,my hair is coming in my natural color.I am still thin on top though. Both of my girls have thin hair, and it takes a long time to grow, and my youngest, her hair grows uneven.Long in the back, but the sides don`t grow much.My oldest daughter was 10 years old before her hair got down to her shoulders. Guest guest
He Shou Wu is a single herb that is kind of famous for what you're describing. I guess this is called Fo Ti in some camps. Here's a lengthy but in-depth article from a guy who is well respected in the Chinese medicine world. He isn't selling the herb. Makes his work more credible. http://www.itmonline.org/arts/hoshouwu.htm -al. I have been going bald since about 17 or so. In Chinese medicine terms what is going on. Chi of some kind blocked? Are there 5 major kinds of chi ? I am guessing this from the 5 elements doctrine. Is their a dry wet or some other kind of chi here that is at fault? Bill

Hair loss in a female is usually associated with a blood deficiency. He shou wu is for blood too. > I have been going bald since about 17 or so. In Chinese medicine terms what > > is going on. It means that one was wise enough to live a long life. Chinese culture really favor people that are old. It means they're doing something right. So in a way, being bald is a badge of honor. However women should have hair. If you would like to invest in some he shou wu, it certainly couldn't hurt you, but I don't know that there's anything we can do for male pattern baldness. -al. -- , DAOM Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. http://twitter.com/algancao

Guest guest
Al, Any recommendations on where to buy the He Shou Wu. Dee
Guest guest
I used to work at http://dragonherbs.com. They have a decent he shou wu product. I have no financial interest in sales of their products. If you are interested in getting the herb in extract powder (not in capsules, like dragon herbs) you can contact me directly (in which I do have a financial interest, though I may act disinterested some times. ha.) -al.
