Anyone have experience with anti-phospholipid syndrome and miscarriage?

Basically normal clinical picture with abnormal clotting and / or reaction to

the placenta.

This syndrome describes biomedical mechanisms, however Chinese medicine will

step back and look at the patient with human eyes rather than blood tests.

There is a finite number of causes for miscarriage in Chinese medicine,

however there will always be new mechanisms arising in the biomedical

archives.

Abnormal clotting kind of looks like blood stagnation from here, but only

with corroborating signs and symptoms such as a purple hue or lack of

vividness in the tongue body's color.

However, if the problem presents in a patient who bruises easily, then we'll

focus on the Spleen's function of " holding things up " which includes the

fetus. When the Spleen can't hold things up, a miscarriage can ensue.

I see that this is considered an auto-immune issue. There's only one herb I

know of that down-regulates the immune system, but it is crazy dangerous and

toxic. Can't even get it in the US.

Even auto-immune problems such as Lupus are treated by assessing the

patient's presentation rather than treating some global concept.

All my best to ya,

-al.
