Conversely reducing urinary acid load should bring a degree of symptom relief. In the Winter of 2003, we analyzed data from a intervention study using alkalizing salts in the treatment of pain and urgency from interstitial cystitis. The study used Tamer® Products to alkalize. The symptom relief was very impressive. Guest guest
Virginia, There are many ways to help lower acidity, but diet is the main way to keep a good balance. Even if we could accomplish having less pain and " tolerable " health while living to eat, eventually there would be a back bite. I copied this from a previous post (yesterdays). It is recommended by the majority that we try to keep a 70 percent alkaline diet with at least half of that being raw. And speaking of raw, I was told that organic free range raw eggs are alkaline not acidic. Even if we start out with one meal a day, gradually doing two and finally all three it's a start. There are ways to help neutralize acidity in our bodies....juicing for one, raw apple cider vinegar, molasses toddy's (yummy), warm/cold water with squeezed lemon, buffered vitamin C.... molasses toddy recipe: 2 teaspoons of black strap molasses, 2 teaspoons raw honey, 2 teaspoons raw apple cider vinegar in warm water. I drink one in the morning....it isn't so much a rush of energy you get from that drink, but endurance.... a steady long lasting energy. Many have replaced coffee with that drink! http://alkaline-alkaline.com/ph_food_chart.html fft herbal remedies , " Virginia Leonard " <vleonard@m...> wrote: > > So how do we lower acid? > >
