Guest guest
Updating from my post - I had my first appointment today. I actually went to a community acupuncture clinic instead of the acupuncture school. It seems that the acupuncture school had a bit of a problem with running some kind of immigration scam - and now sadly they are no more. The acupuncturist who owns the community acupuncture clinic is a white woman, so I hope that is not a bad sign. She has been practicing for 10 years. It is just a few people at a time. She said I have dampness and spleen problems. After my first acupuncture treatment today, she said that my spleen pulse increased really well. Not sure what that means. She is giving me herbs for tea as well. She is still figuring out that recipe, and I'll receive that in the mail. She said it will be for my spleen and for my ...burner.... I'm not sure about the burner thing. She said that my legs are a fluid problem, and I think she sees more edema than fat (but still some fat issue). I am supposed to do weekly acupuncture. She says I should see a subtle difference in a few sessions. She said my problem will hopefully be recovered in 3 months. So, what are your thoughts on all this? I guess I really need to tell you about the herbs. She said she will email me the ingredients after she decides on what they will be. Thanks Julie
