Guest guest
I've used Ya Dan Zi with some real benefit for wart removal. You take the herb and grind it up into a coarse powder. Then rub it onto the wart, even to the point of slightly breaking the skin. Then use a band-aid to keep the herb in contact with the wart. Repeat this process daily. In a few days, the wart will begin to decompose, as if the ya dan zi is like an acid on it. You can do that for like, five days. After which the area is going to feel rather sensitive and raw. At that point the wart will be smaller. If desired, you can clean the area and repeat, or if it is too uncomfortable for the patient, let it heal for a few weeks and repeat. It is wise to wipe the Ya Dan Zi off of the healthy skin after you've rubbed it into the wart because it will melt the good skin too. Smearing some vasoline on to the healthy skin after the Ya Dan Zi has been wiped on the wart and wiped off the health skin can help to prevent any fragments of the Ya Dan Zi beneath the band-aid from getting on to the healthy skin. I wouldn't suggest using Ya Dan Zi on sensitive areas such as genetalia, etc... -al " " wrote: > > Group, > > Maybe this has been mentioned, but I did not see it in the archives. Guest guest
Here’s a great trick that really works. You need powdered blood root- sanquinaria- from a western herb supplier. Be careful, it’s very caustic. Make a paste w/ water, or better yet, Tu Jin Liniment, apply to the wart at night. Cover w/ a bandage. Remove in the morning. Many times one application will do it ( if they’re new) but you can repeat it several time. For small warts, tu jin liniment will sometimes work. And also- no kidding- you should wish on a star. That’s how I got got rid of my own warts.:-) NOTE: Bloodroot is for external use only Cara , " < @h...> " <@h...> wrote: > Group, > > Maybe this has been mentioned, but I did not see it in the archives. Guest guest
I have treated seven or eight cases of people who have many recalcitrant warts that cover their hands or feet. These patients have always had many western interventions prior to seeking out TCM intervention. The 'mother-wart' routine has not yet failed me. Just find the first wart to appear or the largest on each hand/foot and use direct scarring moxa cones X 3. Within three weekly treatments the others go away. Hurts like the dickens and the patient must be warned. In the above cases, however, they had already been through so much that they were willing to do anything to rid themselves of the little viral parasites. Guest guest
How about subaceous cysts? Anyone have success with those? My husband has one on his head. It was surgically removed twice and came back. Tried acupuncture on it when I was in school, no effect. -Jody

Guest guest
There was also that story that came out at the end of last year in the papers stating that using duct tape over warts 'thousand day sores' was more effective than using cryotherapy. The original paper is published in the Archives of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine (2002;156:971-4). I believe the treatment consisted of soaking the wart in warm water and scuffing it down with an emory board, then covering it for 6 1/2 days with a piece of duct tape. Repeat. Effectiveness vs. cryotherapy was 85% vs. 60% in 51 people between 3 and 22 years old. Geoff

Guest guest
Last year I saw an article that talked about a wart study that was published in a pediatric journal. They covered the warts with duct tape, and apparantly it worked.... Personally, I have also used the direct moxa method with success. Guest guest
I have treated warts, even planters warts, with a combination of baking soda and castor oil. Mix them into a paste, apply to the wart and cover with a bandaid. In about a week of treating the warts fall off. Planters warts seem to grow out as new healthy skin fills in where they were, then fall off -- it takes another week or so. Rebecca

Guest guest
The best thing in the world for viral warts is to combine castor oil, pure cold pressed neem oil - plenty of both of these, a few squirts of garlic Acetate tincture or just garlic oil, a couple drops of Eucalyptus EO and lemon balm EO or tincture if youhave it. Can even work on genital warts without irritation, acid warts on the fingers, etc. Oh, and dissolving some epsom salts in the castor oil really helps as well before adding the other stuff. Doesnt smell the best but certainyl works, good luck! Erin --- warriormommy <warrior_mommy wrote: > Have you tried duct tape? Our family doctor told us > this.. and it works. Guest guest
Hello, I relise these is not a natural remedy, but want to share it anyway. I myself suffered from a terrible bout of warts, I beleive brought on my the health spa. Anyway, I had about 50 warts on my two hands. I went to the doctor, they were just common warts. Burning them off wouldn't cure them. I was given laser treatment and a solution that sort of burned the skin. After a month, they were gone, and I was very thankful to that old doctor. This was 16 years ago, but a few years back I got one on the back of my thumb and fore finger. They didn't get worse or grow. About 2 years ago I started hand washing my whites in the kitchen sink with clorox, the whitener (don't think I spelt that right). I don't use rubber gloves, so my hand were submerged for about an hour ever saturday while doing the white hand-wash. I noticed that one wart, just vanished and the other about a month later. I think it was the clorox. Either way I was thankful again, as they are gone. One can imagine the grief I went through. Just want to say again the it is not a natural remedy, but did want to share. Guest guest
We cured my son's plantar warts (about 10 of them, several of them LARGE) by dabbing on tea tree oil nightly before bed... took about 2 months. =o) Tracy in Ohio Both life and death hold God's promises for me! - TUNA BELLA Re: Herbal Remedies - growths as warts and skin cancers herbal remedies , "Angela" <angela.christine@c...> wrote:>> how often did you apply it and for how long of time?> Thank you,> AngelaThe plantar's wart was the most stubborn: that took about six months. Guest guest
I have only had two small warts in my life. One was totally cured with fresh dandelion stem juice(white milk) rotated with myrh extract. The warts were spot treated several times a day with either of the previously mentioned remedies. There is no scar or sign of that wart and it took a few weeks to a month. The other wart was a little larger and was treated with Thuja homeopathic mother tincture rotated with several essential oils(oregeno, thyme, tea tree, and clove). There is a small scar where it was. Again, it took about a month. Guest guest
Rub the inside of a banana peel on them each night before bed. - 1seer7 herbal remedies Thursday, February 26, 2009 7:38 PM {Herbal Remedies} warts Hi All, Here's one for ya. I have these teeny tiny little warts growing under my breast and here and there. Medico Doc says they are just age related warts and nothing to worry about but I don't like them. Aren't they caused by a virus or something like that? How do I get rid of them? Guest guest
A paste mixture of castor oil and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)will take care of warts, moles, corns or calluses. This is an Edgar Cayce recommendation that really works. Massage the mixture into the warts daily and cover with a bandage.
