Guest guest
Hi Diane, I'm sorry to hear about the dermatitis. It's frustrating, to say the least! As a sufferer of moderate-to-severe eczema (the same thing as dermatitis) for over 2 yrs now, I think I finally have it under control, at least most of the time. I had mine on my wrists/fingers/hands/and now palms. I've also had it on my face, scalp, and neck. I've learned that it has several different causes (and therefore remedies) but the commonality seems to be nerve irritation. Some get it as a reaction to vaccinations, I got it from a combo of providing massage therapy, stress, and a fire-increasing diet. What has worked for me is this: keeping the affected areas extremely clean; eliminating onions, garlic, and tomatoes from my diet; receiving lymphatic drainage to the affected areas (performed by a massage therapist trained in this painless, detoxifying light- pressure technique); and drinking TONS of reverse-osmosis water. If I stray even slightly from the diet, cleanliness, and the water intake, I have large flare-ups that require lymphatic drainage to get rid of. Otherwise, I am fine, and have minimal scarring. Hope this helps! Blessings, ~Jyoti herbal remedies , Teddyberen wrote: > > Hi.. > I have swelling from the contact dermatitis over my eye, between the brow and > eyelid.. Well, let's ignore the goal of " what herb " and think instead about herbal formulas, which is generally who things are done in Chinese medicine. You'll certainly want to control your diabetes obviously. While addressing yoru foot problem is good for treating the so-called " branch " or the end symptoms of your condition, ignoring the underlying cause will limit the benefits of any herbal approach to control your feet swelling. That's something that your practitioner can help you with too as diabetes can look differently at different stages. The following formula names' last word can change, so focus on everything but that last word if you want to find these things online If your feet look white, pale and swollen. Consider a diuretic formula such as *Zhu Ling Tang* (Polyporus Decoction). This formula helps pee out extra fluids, but at the same time helps to prevent one from becoming dehydrated. Late-stage diabetes can look like a dehydration issue from the Chinese perspective. If your feet look red, try *Er Miao San* (Four Wonderful [ingredients] Powder). This formula is for what we call damp-heat. The damp is extra the fluid, the heat part is what makes the feet look red. If your feet look purple, consider *Si Miao Yong An Tang* (Four Courageous Herbs For Good Health). This is probably a good choice for you, since your condition has required surgery. This formula is for that condition that gives rise to tissue necrosis (dead, gangreneous green tissues). The first formula is the safest, but because you're diabetic and this is a late stage issue, you'd be well advised to visit a Chinese medicine practitioner in person to really track down the best choice for above and beyond the simplistic choices based on the color of your feet. -- , DAOM Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.
