Is it ok to take 20 pills instead of regular 8-12?

One of my TCM brand of pills are Lanzhou Foci and they appear rather weak.The

herbs in most of their formulas range from approximately 27mg at the very most

to only 2.5mg.Most of my other brand formulas are aproximately 40-250 mg.Would

it be ok to take more then the standard dose with the Lanzhou Foci brand ones?
