Guest guest
Hiyas, all. We get a few new rs to this list every week and many offer up a question or two when they describe their reasons for joining. Some of these questions are really worthy of posting, and so I'm going to start to go ahead and post them as they come up, so we can have a steady stream of good questions. Here's one from a new r: I am a recent graduate of Red Mountain Institute for the healing Arts and would love to join this group for guidance and information on building my business. I would just like to say that my own observation of those who have the greatest success out of the gate when going into private practice is that those with an existing social network do the best. In other words, if all of your friends and acquaintances are associated with the healing school that you attended, you aren't likely to build a practice on that. However if you also belong to a square dancing group, or bowling league, or stamp collecting group, you've got a built-in patient base. If you don't belong to any particular group from which you can get patients, consider joining a group that does something that you enjoy aside from your work in health care. These are the people who can get to know you better and eventually trust you enough to talk about their urogenital issues, etc... -al. -- , DAOM Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.
