Guest guest
I am looking for a thermally neutral tea to drink instead of green tea. I attempted to replace diet soda with green tea and stevia but just 2 cups a day were just too cooling for my digestion. It would preferably be naturally caffeine-free and would require a trip no further than your local whole foods. Slightly warming might be okay, although I have been warned specifically against cinnamon while we are trying to clear heat from qi stagnation. -sjb
Guest guest
I knew a woman who could only drink one brand of bottled green tea. Every other brand (tea bags or bottled) she tried upset her digestion. The one that didn't upset her digestion had ginger in it. By adding ginger this one company was causing the " average " energy of the drink to be neutral. The heating of the ginger and the cooling of the green tea canceled each other out. She tried adding a little ginger to tea brewed from tea bags. This time the tea didn't hurt her digestion. If you try this you'll need to experiment with how much ginger to use. It doesn't take very much. It may be as little as less than an eighth of a teaspoon. Warning: Ginger is contraindicated for pregnant women unless under the care of a professional because of the risk (slight) of the ginger bringing on premature labor. Guest guest
You might want to try Yerba Mate, i think it is a bit warming, but pretty mild.
