Guest guest
Hi Everyone I am new to this list. I am a 40 year old woman who has always been into natural health. I dance, do yoga and walk my dogs. I have eaten a natural whole foods diet for as long as I can remember. I feel my diet is good EXCEPT I know I need to eat more cooked warming foods, which I am doing. I tend to love salads as opposed to soups, I just find them more fun, I guess but I am now making a concerted effort to eat something hot and warming everyday. I do notice I feel better eating warming/cooked foods. Okay, here is my question: I went to this TCM doctor (he has a whole " Enterprise " in Southern CA). He did a tongue/fingernail analysis and said point blank, " I am telling you, you are pre-cancer " . He said that I had low circulation and excess estrogen. He did not give anyone else I spoke to, such a serious diagnosis, just me. I am at a loss here. I exercise all the time. I stand on my head...why do I have " low circulation " ? How can I correct it? The estrogen issue bugged me, too. I do not eat conventional dairy or meat products...so I am not getting the hormones from there. Plus, I don't use any chemical cleaners in my home. Where is this 'estrogen' coming from? I am totally stumped! I do eat soy but not much. I did buy his herbs but I do not want to go back to this guy. His program would cost $600.00 a month and it would go on for a year or more. Further, he gave NO nutritional advice to help me a long. It's just so expensive, I would rather find another way to improve my health. I am certain I can help myself with tonics/herbs/and foods and not pay so much. It's just too expensive, I don't have that kind of income. I have read that certain types of yoga help circulation...but not sure if this will cure the cause. Thoughts? Thanks so much. Excess astrogen is NOT a TCM diagnosis. Neither is " low circulation " . Blood Stasis is, and Blood Stasis can manifest in many different ways. > I did buy his herbs but I do not want to go back to this guy. With a few exceptions - like ginseng - herbs tend to be cheap. > Further, he > gave NO nutritional advice to help me a long. This concerns me too. I recommend seeing a different TCM healer. Preferably one who doesn't operate an " enterprise " type situation. Did this " doctor " do a pulse diagnosis? A pulse and tongue diagnosis are both a part of a proper TCM evaluation. As for fingernail, did he just look at your nails (which TCM healers do) or did he have clippings sent to a lab for analysis?

Guest guest
Did you go to a Dr. in Anaheim area (I do not remember the exact area, but some where near Fry's Electronics on highway 91)? His meds created so much unbalance in my body that it took a very long time to fix up things. He has some formula drugs. Do not use them. Instead you can go to Winghop Fung or Far East Center doctors in China Town. Both have good Drs. But this guy will make you very very sick. Guest guest
I know who you are talking about. Throw away his meds and do not go back to him. lv2breathe wrote: Hi Everyone I am new to this list. I am a 40 year old woman who has always been into natural health. Thanks so much. > > KC This type of syndrome is being seen more and more - many individuals who are following a very correct diet and doing everything that they think is helpful for health suddenly are being diagnosed with cancer. What is going on here? It is s very complicated issue but the important point is that cancer is a disease of stasis - in conditions of stasis correct nutrition is not necessarily helpful at the local areas becuase stasis is blocking nutrition and oxygen metabolism - so even those following careful diet often can develop stasis diseases - this is especially true if the blood stasis is caused by yin defeciency because the yang has dehydrated the blood - this happens often in those who follow draining therapies and or who over heat themselves through over exercise - if the Yin is perserved then it is much more difficult to develop stasis. Since stasis is a very complicated process it is best to study the subject in some depth - because stasis is the primary symbol for the aging process everyone should understand the process of stasis so as to avoid the ordinary ravages of aging as well as cancer and such disease processes. An excellent book on the subject is - Aging & Blood Stasis: A New TCM Approach to Geriatrics by - Yan De-Xin Dr VK
