Guest guest
My understanding is there are a number of theories of seasonal treatment... do you mean treatment variations appropriate to the season, determination of seasonal predominant qi through astrological calculations, or some sort of prophylactic treatment to address possible seasonal issues? Guest guest
Hi Tom Thanks for the intro to WanFang Data. Looks useful but now need to work out how to access their service! Have already found some papers on allergies and SAD - am particularly interested in the case for the prevention of conditions to reduce the cost of allopathic treatments. regards Norman Chinese Medicine , " Tom Verhaeghe " <tom.verhaeghe wrote: > > > I've seen Chinese research on asthma treatments with ??? hua4nong2jiu3 > (suppurative moxibustion) during summer...you could search wanfangdata for > it, > > Tom. > > ---- > > Norman Savigar > 17/10/2007 18:28:09 > Chinese Medicine > Seasonal treatments > > Does anybody know if any research has been completed on the subject of > routine/regular seasonal treatments? > > > > > >
Guest guest
Hi Par I want to research the preventative approach with a view to making the case for reducing the cost of allopathic treatments. So one could be treating possible seasonal issues such as hay fever and SAD, but also tackling the seasons as seen from the 5 Element perspective. I haven't yet come across the theory of the astrological calculations for seasonal qi - can you shed any more light on this theory? regards Norman Chinese Medicine , " Par Scott " <parufus wrote: > > My understanding is there are a number of theories of seasonal treatment... do you mean treatment variations appropriate to the season, determination of seasonal predominant qi through astrological calculations, or some sort of prophylactic treatment to address possible seasonal issues? > > Par Scott > - > Norman Savigar > Chinese Medicine > Wednesday, October 17, 2007 5:42 AM > Seasonal treatments > > > Does anybody know if any research has been completed on the subject of > routine/regular seasonal treatments? > > > > > >
