Guest guest
Bless your heart Janet, I did the very same thing, the exact same way not too long ago and also used cayenne powder to stop the bleeding. It stopped it immediately didn't it? What I did, is to make sure the bleeding had stopped, and it did quickly, and then remove the powder.Hugs,-- Live on earth as if you want to stay. Guest guest
You can leave the powder on until the blood coagulates. You can even leave the powder on forever, under a band aid. Somehow the body just deals with it. :-) Or, you can wash it off at any point. If the blood hasn't coagulated enough and it starts bleeding again, just add more powder. Guest guest
Cover the cayenne with raw honey and put a loose bandage on if need be. You can leave that on pretty much indefinitely since the honey " breathes " and you may be surprised at how little scarring there is. Manuka honey is the best by far imo. All the best, oleander soup , lostrin <lostrin wrote: > > Typing one-handed... > > cut myself chopping carrots and sprinkled cayenne on it - stopped bleeding > right away - how long do i keep powder on for > > kids thought it was neat > > janet > > 2010/1/7 > > > > > > > * " You can trace every sickness, every disease, and every ailment to a > > mineral deficiency. Guest guest
So fascinating!I'm back to 2 hand typing. I showed the girls how the coagulation followed a pattern around the rim of the slice. My 12 year old is getting genius at all this stuff! Why don't they teach this at school? She learned more about human biology at an excellent first aid course for kids. The other day she announced that had a rash on her arms. I asked her, " Well, what should you put on it? " She thought about it and replied, " Coconut oil or calendula cream. " I suggested, put one on one arm and the other on the other and let's see which works best. Both worked. Smart kid.Janet 2010/1/7 Renee <gaiacita You can leave the powder on until the blood coagulates. You can even leave the powder on forever, under a band aid. Guest guest
Oooh, good job! You are teaching the kids a GREAT life lesson. They will not have to depend on doctors, will be healthier for it too. You have taught them to think for themselves, to be discriminating and to test for themselves and not depend on what someone else says. What a great Mom!!!
