Guest guest
It sounds like you are following the right path. The biggest thing you have going for you is a positive attitude. You are completely right with your view on the doctors. There are always alternatives to anything a Doctor recommends, no matter how serious your condition. I was in a bad car wreck 6 years back and I blew out my shoulder that I had just had operated on six weeks prior to the accident....Anyways I had another surgery and still had problems afterwards....My health was also not so good, as I was getting sick all the time. It was not until I decided to take responsibility for my own health that I started to get better. It took a lot of experimenting but the biggest step I took is the attitude adjustment....Like any problem in life you need to face it head on...sometimes it is hard but the rewards are unbelievable....anyways, I haven't been sick (cold/flu) in 3 years and I haven't dislocated my shoulder in over 2 years (which I had done over 20 times before) A few suggestions for you would be to do some hydrotherapy on your knee and whole body. You can do this simply in the shower. Start with hot water and then go to cold....repeat this 3 or 4 times...make sure you completely get any areas that are injured or sick completely hot and cold.....but start slow with this...maybe the first few days start with warm to kinda cold...then when you are sure you body can take it, do the full hot/cold...there is a great article in the files section about this. It increases your circulation.....expansion and then contraction which acts as a pump to get the good nutrients that you are putting in your body to all areas. I do this every morning and I feel very energized after I complete it....anyways your chiro seems like a good person who is leading you down the right path..... Another thing I would consider, when you are ready for it, is a total body cleanse. This is a 4 week program that targets all areas of the body....you can email Doc, the owner of this list for a free CD, and he also will give a free consultation.... Good luck with your journey. You are on the right path!! Keep it up!!! Send us any questions you have and we can try to answer them.....plenty of raw fruits and veggies also!!! Take care, Rob my3girls [babyblue]Friday, January 07, 2005 2:45 AMherbal remedies Subject: Herbal Remedies - my situation 10 years ago I was involved in a car wreck that crushed my knee. The doctors who operated on it told my mother that I would never walk again. Well, I did but things have been going downhill the past few years. I have gotten fed up with all the orthopedic doctors saying that there is nothing left to do till we replace it and that I am to young for that but it is the only option. I have begun seeing a chiropractor about a week now and am already feeling better than I have in a couple of years. My pain is at a minimum and I am actually able to play with my kids. After the birth of my first child (she is 8 now) I was put on birth control and gained 100 pounds and 2 children. My chiropractor says that the main thing we need to focus on right now is getting the weight off as fast and as safe as possible. He has put me on the Eat Right For Your Blood Type diet, Amino Sculpt Collagen for the joint benefits as well as aiding in weight loss, Sculpt n' Cleanse, I also took an enzy me deficiency test and am Amylase Deficient and am taking Digest Gold with meals and light exercise. Is this safe and if so, is there any thing else I should be doing? I want to have faith in my Chiropractor, he is actually the first that has had any success in helping me.
