Guest guest
Evelyn, We'll be sending good thoughts your way. Hope your whole family can keep together and be strong. Try to comfort yourself when you can. Only you know how best to do that, and soothing might not fill the black hole you are experiencing right now, but it helps a lot. A pair fuzzy slippers and a non-stop cup of tea really helped me, when I lost my Mom. Cheers, Christina
Guest guest
Olivier,I am glad that you are hanging in there. I know it's tough. However, the holiday season is the worst time for grief. Keep yourself busy and participate in festivities. And yes........ take time out to cry. I'm going to share something with you. When my mother died, I spent the entire year looking out the window as the seasons passed, reflecting on what we did together this time last year. On her first anniversary, I realized I had to get on with life. On her second anniversary, it was better. But you know....... I still look out the window and reminisce. But I have a new appreciation of spring and I love it when the trees start to bud, because that reminds me that my mom didn't really die, she went on to live a new life. Big hugs to you,
