ROSE LAUREL OPC

Hi to everyone, I am back in this group after a long absence. I am not a cancer

sufferer myself but I deal with a lot of people who are; now a very dear friend

of mine has bowel cancer. He is just out of hospital after having surgery which

has left him with a temporary (we hope) ileostomy.

We have just received 3 bottles of the Rose Laurel OPC; I got those because wrote somewhere that they were stronger than the Sutherlandia OPC and cure was

dose dependent.

My question is this: On the bottle it says to take 2 capsules - however, I need

to know WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM SAFE DOSE? HOW LONG SHOULD IT BE TAKEN FOR? before

one should see some results. Does anyone have any experience with taking OPC

with an ileostomy or colostomy bearing in mind that the gut will not absorb food

in the same way as a normal gut? I was told to refer to the tbyil.com web site

but I cannot see any information there!

We believe the cancer has spread but so far we do not know where or at what

stage it is at. We will have this information by the 29th Dec. my friend will

then be referred on to an Oncologist and I expect then that the pressure will be

on to do 'chemo'.

We need to get up and running with the Oleander before this happens so any

help/advice would be much appreciated.

Sorry if this is a bit long.

Thanks, Mary

Hi Mary,With regard to the Rose Laurel OPC, one must start slow and gradually increase the dosage, as follows: Start off by taking 1 capsule with breakfast for 2 days. Increase dosage to 1 capsule twice per day (2 caps total) with breakfast and lunch for a further 2 days. For more serious ailments increase dosage to 2 capsules twice per day (4 caps total) with breakfast and lunch for 1 month. If no improvement, increase dosage to 3 capsules twice per day (6 caps total) with breakfast and lunch for 2 months. When in remission, the dosage can be reduced to 2 capsules per day for at least a further 3 - 6 months Below is the recommended cancer protocol to follow while taking Oleander.I don't think that a colostomy will make a difference in the absorption. However, Tony should be along to clarify this.My Best, oleander soup , "m59eister" <m59eister wrote:>> Hi to everyone, I am back in this group after a long absence. Marc has said that many cancers, such as the more difficult, more advanced and/or more aggressive ones are very dose dependent when it comes to getting good results with oleander. Though the normal maximum dose is recommended to be 6 capsules per day, some people find the results they want with 8 and even 10 capsules per day, if tolerated Keep in mind that OPC Plus has about 1/30th the cardiac glysosides as a typical dose of digoxin/digitalis and Sutherlandia OPC about 1/40th, so one must use caution if taking other cardiac glycosides or blood thinners when going to the higher doses, and perhaps adjust the other meds downward a bit. At any rate, work your way up slowly and increase he dose when the body becomes acclimated.

All the best,
