QUESTION ABOUT PREPARING THE SOUP

I am going to make up some oleander soup, a batch per se.

I have a question/s:

Can I use a crock pot, set it on high and let it cook the oleander clippings for

6 hours. Then strain out the clippings. Set it on high again, and reduce the

liquids down to 50% of original.

Can I use a crock pot on high, for 6 hours or should it be longer?

During the second round, do I keep the lid on?

Hi Bee,I would follow the recipe exactly as outlined in the following link:/oleander soup.htm It specifies to use a 12 quart stainless steel or porcelain pot. Then follow the exact directions. This will ensure your success in making Oleandersoup. My Best, oleander soup , "beeh2003" <beeh2003 wrote:>> I am going to make up some oleander soup, a batch per se.> I have a question/s:> Can I use a crock pot, set it on high and let it cook the oleander clippings for 6 hours.
